firmasite-theme-enhancer domain was triggered too early. This is usually an indicator for some code in the plugin or theme running too early. Hey Bruce, sorry to bother you.
Just requesting assistance with my bio lectures.
Before a eukaryotic cell duplicates, and all the organelles are in their favoured natural positions, with the nucleus in the centre, the Mitochondria, Lysosome, Endoplasmic Reticulum, and the Golgi apparatus etc. Do all the organelles double in size, than meet at a focal position and than split? Or do the organelles stay in their positions, (e.g. if the Lysosome was on the left of the cell, when the daughter cells seperate, are the Lysosomes for both cells on the left?) and as the cell is dividing, it somehow pulls in the halved organelles, Lysosome etc. into either cell. Sorry if it wasn’t explained scientifically, I’m trying to get my head to visually understand the process of cell replication and how, in the process of the splitting, how the organelles know the pull away from each other.
Hope you can help,
Thanks
Hey, Callum! Sorry to be so slow; I didn’t know anybody ever came here :-). Alas, we’re outside my area of expertise here. I’m sure there are many Cell Biologists out there that think about these things; I have sometimes found that “Quora”

provides useful answers from experts (and sometimes not, of course…
